True, but all we can ask is that WE do all we can to help ourselves. If we're relying on officials, we are placing ourselves at the mercy of incompetents - and we really do not need to be doing that.

I’m not sure anyone is saying it doesn’t matter, mate. If we draw/lose this game, though, the point is it’ll be more about our attacking incompetence than one VAR decision. In much the same way that us going down would be more a result of continued crapness than any one-off injustice.
