Our lack of players who can handle the press is a real issue at the moment. It is why Iwobi to the right wing is the last thing I'd have done.

I’m not sure it’s the press we struggle with as such - our team are absolutely static so there’s no pass out which makes any press infinitely more successful and why the ball is always back with our keeper.

You would think that after 28 games they would know that us passing from the back doesn't work. What is the effing point Everton. Backwards, sideways, backwards, lose it pressure on. Do something different such as getting the ball forward accurately and quickly ffs.

I can only assume Carlo wants to engrain that style of football in to the team over several seasons as he brings in new players that are actually capable of doing it effectively.
