That's what we all said about Newcastle. Could it maybe because everyone knows we are tripe at home? We struggle to set the tempo for a game, hence why we are so much better away from home, where the onus is on the opposition.

Holgate should never be starting at RWB. Haven’t seen a worst wing back for us since Heitinga was given a run out there a few years back.

Iwobi is an enigma. When he gets possession, especially when static, he tends to just hold onto it and doesn’t appear to know what to do next. He invariably passes it back to a defender or we lose possession. As an outlet he is utterly useless in that context.

The second Iwobi goes on the wing he turns into absolute dog. He started well, how can you all of sudden turn so bad? Absolute WUM in my opinion, winds me up.

Midfield is still the major issue. Far too static, slows everything down, no movement and not picking up Burnley runners

pour midfield is basically a throw of the dice every game with some of the options we have.

you either have Allan and Doucoure there to have a consistent effective if flawed midfield......or it’s a hope and a prayer for one of the others to turn up with a good game or a bit of a good run

they nullify the better parts of the team

Gomes no but Iwobi?. The guy is useless. Davies is to slow to weak and not good enough on the ball to play at that level. Sell him! Everton should be renamed Bambi FC. Harmless and nice but not a football team.
