And Fulham had never beat us at Goodison.

Burnley are generally poor in possession, they’re in the bottom 4 clubs for worst possession this season. You’d like to think having Davies & Allan available will allow us to dictate the game a bit more. Key is going to be Coleman & Digne getting down the wings and putting crosses in for me, if we go for a long ball approach to DCL their centre half’s will eat him alive. Tarkowski is a decent centre back for them and wins a lot in the air.

Can't argue with the fact they are poor with the ball but they work hard which sadly we often don't.

Who's the meathead they have up front? Need Mina the other two will get bullied. And before you say Godfrey won't,think back to WBA.

I mean Godfrey played well against West Brom – Diagne constantly pinned onto Keane?

Issue is, we need pace in our back line to press up the pitch. But, against Burnley, that *shouldn't* be as much of an issue.

I actually think Seamus will come in, but would personally prefer to see him on the bench as an option. Then I'd go Godfrey over Holgate at right-back just because I think Godfrey can give us that thrust on the ball with his ability to run with it.

Pickford

Godfrey - Mina - Keane - Digne

Allan - Davies - Gomes

King - DCL - Richarlison

Subs: Holgate, Nkounkou, Bernard, Iwobi, Coleman, Gylfi (if fit)... then an assortment of GKs/children because our squad is a state

...I think Carlo will confuse almost everybody when he names Jim Hopper in the team...

If Sigurdsson is available I’d go with a 4-3-1-2. Coleman RB, Godfrey & Keane CB, Digne LB, Holgate DM, Allan & Davies CM, Sigurdsson AM, Richy & DCL ST.

Pickford
Coleman Keane Godfrey Digne
Allan Gomes Davies
King DCL Richarlison

That’s do me nicely, and so would a 1-0 to be honest. Chances likely to be at a premium today.
