Spiddal Road mate, my older brother lives on Kylemore Ave.
Hahaha. We were playing a resurgent Chelsea team who are one of the most in form teams in the league right now.
We were tight, gritty and played controlled football right from the first whistle.
If you can't appreciate that type of Everton performance then I don't know what you can.
Enjoying your backtracking here mate. All of the above is true, but the bolded bit is what helped get the crowd going.
Visibly put the effort in and the vast majority of the crowd will be happy enough. You don't always need to chase down like we did last night, but we need to be fit enough to do that in more games than we have so far this season. If we can do that, and combine it with our skills going forward, then we're very hard to beat.
Enjoying your backtracking here mate.
Faint praise indeed.
Goodison will be bouncing tonight, the majority will be half cut after being out since 2 o'clock, I can't wait, we should of done the double over these, the jammy t@&ts!!
Plus, I had a bizarre dream, that we beat Watford in the final, won the league next year, but then WW3 kicked off and stopped us dominating English football for the foreseeable future!!!
Fish in a barrel! Proper vaulting blood-bath.Lads?
Was enjoyable for us because we were performing and fighting, we've had more watchable games for the nuetrals this season, but sod them - lets grind out a cup! What has annoyed me is the darn pundits and journos saying it was a poor game until Rom's goal. I have to say I disagree, I found the game very enjoyable to watch, not poor by any means.
