....I understand but you can't wrap these lads in cotton wool. Injuries can happen in training, Besic probably needs the games and hopefully he'll come through ok. He needs to impress ahead of McCarthys inevitable return.

You know what? I would have preferred us to be drawn against a time higher up, like top half of The Championship

It'd be an easier game (in theory) to a Premier League team but they'd still be good enough for us to take it seriously (Like when we played QPR in Martinez's first season)

Plus, they'd be more focused on promotion than getting the big cup upset win

A team like Dagenham are, if anything, more dangerous in this sort of situation. They're away from home, so the pressure is off them, and this is a really big occasion for them, so they will be well up for it

I just hope we take them seriously and Martinez picks a side that reflects that. We need to be professional today and try and break them down early

I've been to games there and the standard is utter dump. The players shoot from ridiculous distances continually and it's dull togger.

They did serve tacos and beer right to your seat though so everyone won in the end.

Meant to say the footy is entertaining !
