Everton vs Man Utd

Our defence absolutely bottled it in the 2nd half, Hibbert needs a public flogging for that ball he gave away for the fat [Poor language removed] to make it 3-2. All he had to do was stand Rooney up after he lost the ball but he went flying in and completely missed.

I am gutted, that was a game of two halves- brilliant in the 1st, [Poor language removed] in the 2nd.

ok...my summary after ive calmed down abit...

Turner - young, naive - [Poor language removed]
Hibbert - Poor, 3rd goal his fault
Yobo - Solid in defence, made up for any errors
Lescott - " " " " " " "
Stubbs - " " " " " " "
Carsley -Poor, annonymous
Neville - Worst own goal ever...reckon he thought he was still playing for man utd
Arteta - Good throughout the match...
Fernandes - Great goal, kept his composure, good throughout the match MoM
Osman - Terrible, lightweight, not one shot, [Poor language removed]
Vaughan - Dwelled on the ball 2 long, but go no decisions off the ref...

Beattie - Only got 4 touches of the ball and 3 of them were fouls
Mcfadden - Did nothing
Vdm - Nothing...

Ref - Abismal

Adn just an added note, rooney that fat midget manc [Poor language removed], wasting time in the corner...deserves to have a coin thrown at him.

A bit unfair to say that Vaughan dwelled on the ball too long. He had absolutely no support for much of the match.

Yes.. but he had two good chances to make a run, or evenn just shoot on the spot, and he didnt and lost the ball...

the referee hated him for some reason though...

I've never been that close to crying at a result before. It should have been better, Bally deserved better, it would have been a magical send off for our best ever.. and it was taken from us. Awful, corrupt ref, their [Poor language removed] fans, horrible [Poor language removed] of a manager, their nasty players, our own incompetence...we deserved to win but individual errors cost us big time...

It felt like Alan was with us in the first half, the crowd sensed it, it could have been great...[Poor language removed] stolen from us.

Fernandes, Arteta, Lescott, Yobo, Vaughany were all absolutle quality. Especially Lescott - he is one of our best players, at least from the last 30 years anyway, absolutely outstanding. Ronaldo, O'Shea, Rooney, whoever it was they got no joy from him. Yobo too was excellent. Here's my ratings;

Turner 4 - [Poor language removed] up and then kept diving out, what the hell? He threw it away
Hibbert 4 - Also an almighty [Poor language removed] up. Was laughing and joking with manc gobshite Rooney in the tunnel, so I've heard...a disgrace. He relies on being a 100% committed player to get him through games, he didnt look like he gived a toss today, absolute [Poor language removed]
Yobo 8 - Was excellent in the second half when they started to put pressure, a number of superb challenges, pushed forward when he could.
Stubbs 7 - Helped in the goal and was great in the first half, but got tired and put lots of pressure on Yobo in the second half. Still got some great blocks in when he needed to, tho.
Lescott 10 - I really cannot fault a magnificent performance. He bled blue blood through the game, he was 200% commited as Bally would have been. We have a cracking player on our hands, England must come calling soon.
Arteta 9 - Thought he was brilliant also, fought for absolutely everything, people who say foreign players dont care...Arteta poured everything into the match like Lescott, he cared more than the scousers in the team. Played with both guts and guile, excellent.
Neville 5 - Absolute [Poor language removed] as usual. Kept passing to them, scored a rubbish own goal, left Carsley to do the work in midfield. Can't attack & cant defend. Whats he there for? Soft manc gobshite, probably took payments to slip that one in.
Carlsey 6 - Not much better in possesion terms but at least he can defend. Tried his heart out...but gave the ball away (after Hibbert) for Rooney's goal, headed sideways into his path. Poor show from Lee, tbh.
Fernandes 8 - A subdued game to be honest, and he probably deserves less, but I can't ignore the quality he brought to the game when given the chance. Lost possesion once or twice, but every other time he put in a great ball or made a great run. Cool in defence, tracked back when he needed to, showed some great all-round quality and popped up with a brilliant goal. SIGN HIM UP!
Osman 7 - I know what Dom says but he tried, he played in some great balls - he's never gonna win headers so why play the high ball? - the ref didn't help, gave Ossie nothing. I thought he tried but was unlucky, story of his season really; needs a rest
Vaughan 9 - Ran himself into the ground, absolutely outstanding considering the latest in a long catalogue of injuries. He ran at them with no fear, played with a real blue passion. He will develop into something special, I think.

Moyes 9 - Was brilliant, tactically and in his motivation, we can't blame him at all. Made subs at the right times, with the right players, and people like Neville & Hibbo, experienced defenders, let him down. I love Moyes.

Ref 2 - Absolutely abysmal. "Sir Alex" the [Poor language removed] threw his arms up, the ref gave him a decision. Mourinho absolutely vindicated in his accusations - refs are in United's pocket. He was a joke.

I am really gutted, I'd rather not ever remember this...but what a goal by Fernandes...and for some time, we all felt on top of the world.
Robbed.

Oh and Rooney - JUDAS

deserved to have a bottle in his face. We're trying to come to terms with losing one of our greatest, it was not a time for him to stick his fat face in to take the glory. It should've have been about him today.

Andy Gray; "We talked about the 8 in blue before, now it's all about the Number 8 in Red" he's also a [Poor language removed]. How dare he compare Rooney to Alan Ball.
knobheads both of them. sheer scum.

Where's monty & latch when you need them, need you with me now lads, I feel destroyed.
Portsmouth 2 - 1 Liverpool
Boro 2 - 3 Spurs
Chelsea 2 - 2 Bolton

Along with Wigan 0 - 3 (a local team and a great away day, might not get the chance now, next season! :() and obviously ours..not a single good result.

Gutted is about right. Reading the game review, to be honest, to come out and play a 4-5-1 with young Vaughan upfront on his own was not a good idea against Manure. We should have been 4-4-2 to put pressure on their defence, playing 4-5-1 just invites them to come at you.

Reading the player reviews reinforces what I have been feeling that we are some way to a good team apart from some individuals.

IMO Hibbert may be okay as a squad player but not really got it, just not good enough at this level, need to find a RB. As for Neville played one or two decent games but overall just all mouth, should never have got him in the first place but stuck with him now, one of Moye's favourites. Osman said it before say it again mjust another Branch/Barlow get shut along with BT and McF.

Oh buggar. Two games to go and to be honest looking very unlikely to get anything out of them, means could well be stuck on 54 points. These fuckers have got to get their heads in gear, need to get 3 points from Pompey, no bloody excuses.

what a day of fukin emotions. i cannot believe how we threw it away. Weneva Turner has pulled on an Everton shirt he's been useless, We got absolutely nothing all day from dat ref, all the goals were jokes, and all dat [Poor language removed] from rooney in last few minutes, why didn't someone bloody flatten him?!?!do they not see him blatently disrespecting them? and to think i was so so happy after 55 odd minutes. wank

In a way the Hibbo mistake made me most angry. I got told at the tender age of 9 that you should NEVER pass the ball across your own goal with the opposition near. Stupid, stupid error

Haven't seen the replays on TV yet but was it similar to the gift Yobo gave Rooney in the first match last year?

Yup, we don't bloody learn.

We can still do it though. We need to beat Pompey and hope other results go our way. We could do with Newcastle doing a job against Reading for us on Monday for a start
