Think that was the most complete and mature performance we have seen from a Martinez Everton side.
Dealt very well with the early onslaught and then grew into the game. Pity Deulofeu was not firing on all cylinders as he had the beating of Clichy just his final ball let him down.
Besic and Barry were superb. Baines best game since his injury, FM looked solid. Barkley grew into the game after a quiet start.
Rom is just Rom, another exemplary performance, hope the knock is minor.
Robles was very assured and now should keep his place on merit, defence responded very well to him, we looked much more assured at the back.
Subs: Osman quietly efficient, Mirallas played very well I thought and even Kone held the ball up well as we played out time
Martinez proves what an enigma he can be. He's obviously taken on board some of the critisism and we defended as a unit and held a very good shape for most of the game.
This performance proves we are under-performing in the PL and ideally we take this form into the rest of the season. It was not the performance of a team languishing in 11th - it was a top 4 performance.
