Although anything can happen in a one off game (ha ha) I'm predicting another 'expected loss' and therebye removing all expectation and yet another ruined weekend. That way if we win (ha ha) I shall be over the moon and my low bar expectations will be more than met.

I wish we had a near full-strength 11, but we're honestly gonna get pumped.

We generally do well in these games at home. City are great no doubt and they pummelled us at home a few weeks ago. Thought we defended relatively well before Mina got injured and had to go off. He’s back for this.We had no Allan or DCL in that fixture either so having them available for this game improves our chances. FA Cup games are never straight forward.

If gomes and iwobi are in the starting 11 we will get tanked.

Was gonna be solid before the duke smashed his foot to bits, even tougher now. Gutted we won't be there - a vocal Goodison has made city crumble in the past, and it would have been deafening from min one on sat.

We need big games in the middle of the park from our senior pros and even captain iceberg - I'd drop gomesh and put siggy in with Allan and Davies (never thought I'd be saying that about sigfraud, but Andre looks goosed/finished). Iwobi on the bench (at FF!), and king/James in from the off.

Hopefully Mina and James are fit to play as well, especially James - he's a big game player and this is our biggest game (since the last one!).

As others have said, worst possible draw, as city are on a different level to the rest of the league this season - gotta beat the best to be the best tho, and a 90 minute "win or bust" game might work in our favour - as others have said, just hope we have a real go at them and take our chances when we get them ( as we will get some chances) - if we go down we go down swinging, instead of pissing it about across our own box or backwards and surrending the incentive.

Arriba los caramelos!

Pathetic reactions as usual, if football was played on predictions, we’d have been relegated long ago

Its not really pathetic though is it. What is pathetic is losing to Fulham, Newcastle and Burnley at home and generally, all season, playing some of the worst football I’ve ever seen us play. And that’s saying something after the last few years.

City will want the lot this season. And we will duly bend over for them

It is, it’s throwing the towel in before a damn ball is kicked
