He's looked absolutely crap the minutes he's been given, but yes if Chermiti is still out I think Beto should be given the nod. DCL has looked dreadful so far so I see no reason not to rotate and start Beto as long as it's not Beto with DCL.

I was so disappointed not to see Dixon starting after the promise he showed in the previous game. I’m a Dyche fan, but you always feel with him that he’s not a risk taker. Ok, you can say a pre-season game isn’t taking risks, but with the season now only a fortnight away, he’ll start giving more minutes to the players that will be starting the campaign. Coleman and Young will battle it out for the starting right back spot against Brighton.

Coleman has literally been finished for 5 years. It’s embarrassing and sad watching him play at this point. I wish he’d just took the decision out of the club’s hands and retired, they’ll flog him til he breaks down again this season.
Dixon should be starting purely because the point of pre-season is to try new things. You can try a new RB against Preston more easily than against Brighton in a meaningful game.
Yes I agree he should have retired. Watching him the last 3 pre season games, I think it'll end up where he has a nightmare performance in a league game and he'll know he's done. Similar to what happened to Phil Neville and Gary Neville away against West Brom.

Thing is Beto needs minutes to adjust to this league if he ever is. May as well start him for a run. We know what Dom can bring and I am still of the mind he will be moving on.
Think that could be week 1 when Minteh faces him up tbh.

Exactly what pre season is for but I can't see Dyche doing it. We may see a change in game 3 or 4 after Coleman has had a few howlers. Like last season, he only took Keane out after he put in a few classic Keane performances
