Why not? It's only Norwich, so go with the hot hand and who knows, maybe the old Jelavic will return. As they say, form is temporary.

Personally think it'd be poor to drop a striker after he's netted a brace. Regardless of the opponents, goals breeds confidence. A confident Jelavic is a very good Jelavic. Deserves a start against Norwich if he hasnt been sold.

Nonsense. Last year is last year, now is now. One striker has had two good displays off the bench over the last month and scored a brace today, the other has done sod all.

Jelavic has done enough to earn the start next time out. If he performs poorly, then he should be hauled off, but no player at the club should be an automatic starter regardless of form.

You do not discount an entire season's worth of performances because of one game against a Championship side who were by all accounts the worst team to play at Goodison all season.
