Iwobi MotM for me. Gray was OK but never did enough with all the opportunities he had from dead ball situations. Gana was superb as usual and the defence is looking rock solid. Gordon was disappointing today but the overall 'team' performance was a breath of fresh air.

Tarkowski for me who was very commanding and but for one error thought his passing was excellent, really pings the ball around.

Gueye also excellent, what a difference a genuine 6 makes.

Really solid performance again. Lot of the media will patent this as a ‘required’ victory to take the pressure off after a bad start. That same media writing the easy narrative and won’t have watched a full 90 of us all season, those in the know will see this as a continuation of a theme: that we are starting to look like a proper outfit again - solid at the back, hard working and prepared to do the ugly stuff, but also play pretty in the right areas.
