The most decent young players are already with the squad, with some young players out on loan. They are basically with the squad to top it up, with us having the smallest squad in the league before the season even began. We even recalled a16 year a few weeks ago, just a week odd after she went on loan due to the Injurys.
Every injury is a killer to the Girls. The press made a big fuss when Chelsea had like 2/3 players injured the same time last year, despite them having so many talented players that are subs, that would be starters every other team. But hardly a word said about injurys every single game for Everton.
Having 2 players out injured the 1st 2 games that are out a year, then another one in the 3rd game thats basically out 3months,plus Holmgaard who's been out 5months, adding to Lawley that only came back after a month out the weekend, doesnt help.
Everton signed every player in the summer using wages from players leaving & Benni been sold, us letting staff leave. Wages saved from Duggan & Veje wages gained us Toni Payne & Gabarro. Hanna Bennison been sold, got us Hayashi, Lawley, Sarri.

The Championship should really be between London City Lionesses with all the money that's been put into them the summer, signing players their fans could only dream about signing, plus Newcastle who have been promoted 2 divisons the last 2 years basically due to same reason. Both well better off than Everton. The takeover hopefully gets Everton some money. Everton had the least money the league last season.
