Well enjoyed that. Some decent performances out on the pitch tonight . Feeney, Gibson and Astley at the back looked very comfortable. Adeniran in midfield was a super driving force , looks better and better each game, both Broadhead and particularly Bowler were very good out wide and they looked very balanced in the midfield. Maybe a case for having Gordon playing behind the strikers in a diamond, think he’d offer more than Markelo in attack. Throughout the game I cringed every time they said “ We’re 7 points clear at the top,” was sure it would make us lose a goal . Great defence all night though.
I’d give my Man of Match to Ryan Astley, up against Curtis Jones, Liverpool’s classiest and best player and did very well. I think I’ll give him MoM every time I see him play until he makes the first team , then I’ll sponser his thread and defend him stoutly against the GOT no marks who love to run down our young players :):). Yep I’m pretty happy !!

Back four all excellent , adeniran looks a player a proper box to boxer and hornby was like Duncan tonight in a derby absolutely bullied there centre half’s ,in front of klippety too! Splendid
Did you notice Adreniran's socks looked like they had cut outs at the back?
Strong lad him ,got a real player there.
Hornby and Broadbent but good performance as did Bowler and the entire backline.

Yeah don’t they do that for some sort of protection,he looks a terrific talent ,I’d like to see a midfield of Gueye Gomes and Adeniran before seasons end ,extremely dynamic player

I think from that starting XI I'd have swapped Sambou for Gordon and then buy a decent left-back prospect.
Think I’d like to see how Michael Collins and Joe Anderson from the u18s develop in coming months and into next season. Both are big powerful players for their age, both are left footed and have played centre half and left back , one could be our U23s LB next season.
