Holgate never let himself down when playing either centre back or right back. I wouldn’t have any problem with him being 4th choice centre back and back up right back.

If as rumoured we sign a RB then Coleman would be second choice and Holgate is not good enough at CB to merit a place in the squad
If Leeds offer 10 /15 m I’d take
Same for Kenny

They had a big squad , 23 , 24 ish , so maybe it’s just rotatational first game more changes for second game, best team for third. He seemed to have had a remarkably injury free season ......with us anyway...

We will almost definitely need to spend a lot of money on a centre half(maybe two), a midfielder, a wide player and a striker . Have we so much money we can pay 30m just to create competition with Coleman ?

Yes you are right, 22 players named in first game and no Simms and not in 2nd game so not there .
