U18s won 2-1 this morning against Bolton.
Everton started well, short passing, pressing, Bolton didn't touch the ball for 15mins! Didn't really make much use of the ball though and fired in poor crosses.
Bolton countered, broke free and curled a beauty beyond Griffiths and took the lead, but Everton pulled a goal back through George Green, smashing a low shot into the far left corner from the the right side of the area in a crowded box.
Callum Connolly grabbed the winner towards the end when he angled a dragback from Charsley into the top left corner from a similar spot to Green.
Probably just about deserved a win, but a draw wouldn't have been harsh. Faded badly before and after half time but rallied when the subs came on.
PS. The Bolton parents are absolute beauts, screaming instructions at their kids. Probably some of the worst I've seen bar Crewe's mob!
