Why can these games not be moved to goodison? We only have 7 home games over the next 5 months.

Do you know who Sebastian Quirk is mate? I wonder if he's related to the Hockey player Sam Quirk?

Quirk has done well with the u18s this season , normally plays on the right of midfield in a 3 or4 , but they played him on the left recently and it payed off, cutting inside and hitting a cracking curling goal with his right foot. Looks a bit further back tonight in a DFM position at times. He’s the only outfielder in tonight’s squad who hasn’t got a pro contract and Unsworth has said recently he wants to have a look at him and what he can do in different positions so he’s really playing to get a contract. I’d say he’s done enough for that .

The cost of opening Goodison for a game like this is not worth it.

Games v Derby Monday 17th Feb and Brighton last day monday 4th may-a bank Holiday are both at Goodison,so far the u23s derby 16th march-same date as 1st team derby now] is still at southport but maybe that will change

Everton u23s draw 2-2 with unbeaten leaders Chelsea with a Quirk tap in and Evans pen earning them a point to take there unbeaten league run to 4 games now, Everton stay 7th while chelsea are now top by 3 points, Everton u23s next league game is away to Man City week tonight with 7pm ko,

But before then the u23s play again Monday home 7pm ko v Swansea in the premier league international cup, the top team go through from each of the 6 groups with the 2 highest ranked teams that end 2nd place in the 6 groups going through to make the final 8 teams - Everton will not go through with 4 points if they end 2nd so need a big win v swansea to go through as group winners like 3-0-if that happened it would knock swansea out

Maybe he's with 1st team as back up as has some experience of 1st team football.

Probably scouts there to watch the likes of feeney, Gibson and foulds. Hopefully at least 2 of them with get a loan move before deadline day
