Lovely Performances from Kyle John ,Joe Anderson ,Issac Price,Tyler Onyango and Nathan Broadhead here great to see another goal from Thierry , they have stepped up since Simms joined Blackpool

Excellent and deserved overall 3-1 win for Everton tonight i thought for the 3rd win in 6 Games at Derby-could have had many more goals, as ever you wait 16months for 1 away win then get 2 in 7 days lol. Everton stay 5th and now play away to man city u23s Friday at 7pm - Game so far has not been put on to City TV but i would expect it to be

Big , big difference compared to a couple of years ago , seeing 1st year scholars making their mark at U23s with Price and Welch getting debuts . Welch looks like he’s put on a couple of ins over Lockdown, from. 6 ft 2 to what looks like 6 ft 4 ins now! I thought he had a terrific half when he was on , looks like he’ll be starting games soon.

Yeah he is over 21. He's same scholar year as Tom Davies.

Joe Anderson was impressive tonight - much better than I thought. Kyle John did well and I thought Astley looked very promising when he came on. Isaac Price did well in the 1st half but clearly has some bulking up to do. Onyango was quiet until a lovely burst and pass for the 2nd goal - did okay thereafter. Small doesn't lack confidence. Broadhead too good for this level - I wonder if the watching Wayne will put in a cheeky late bid for him? !
