It's a massive win that one. City and Chelsea are the best 2 teams by far at youth level, so to go to their back garden and win is a massive statement, and in it's own way as back a statement as winning the thing. (If you won it, but didn't defeat either Chelsea, or certainly City I wouldn't say it was as big an achievement).
They have 5 England under 18's players in their team, plus high quality foreign lads. They have been hammering teams for between 4 to 7 in recent weeks. 6 of that team turned up to Liverpool for an under 23's game against a ful strength and much oder Liverpool team and stuck 7 past them (think Delap got a hat trick).
That we have gone to their ground and got a win, indicates that this age group has the potential to be quite a special one for us. The two below is are even stronger. So a great day allround. Brilliant to see Campbell, who is a very young under 17 play so well too.
