Everton Youth Teams Thread

With the likes of Melia, Benjamin being linked , I’m presuming Graham is a done deal , Boakye in recently too it suggests that the revamped scouting/ recruitment system is kicking into gear. You could include Chermiti in that too I guess, although different circumstances. Given that the general consensus is that our u18/21s is the poorest overall for many years I’m less concerned about overloading in some positions, but it will take time for them to filter upwards given their ages.

I've never watched him but he is very highly talked of and has had a few trials over here. For all Pete Orourkes faults he is somewhat clued in with us so hopefully this has legs.

It would make our 21s/18s incredibly bloated for forwards though; Okoronkwo, Whitaker, Ebere, Sherif, Kouyate, Morgan are already the centre forwards on the books on top of Stewart from the 16s (though he looks like a right winger) Braiden Graham, Omari Benjamin and Melia who are rumoured. Vaughan will need to be busy!
I think I read recently that Thelwell is keen to develop the next gen of Everton strikers in house due to the cost of buying ready made centre forwards. This could be part of that strategy.

Would like us to keep going for players like that benjamin who will be leaving arsenal get them in early before deal runs out. Then see if we think good enough

If i remember it right then Benjamin will be free for whoever he signs for as he’s currently coming to the end of his Scholar contract and as Arsenal haven’t offered him another one they don’t get compensation for developing him.

3 championship teams in the fa youth cup semi finals. A sign premier league teams aren't taking it as seriously or do these 3 teams have several quality players?
