Tait has been worse than Unsworth for fielding older players this season

He's decided that Lonergan is more useful than any of them. To answer who I would have over him on the bench, absolutely any of them from U16s upwards would be more justifiable. It's an inexcusable decision.

It happens loads now though doesn’t it I agree with you I wouldn’t do it myself but it’s become quite normal now for some reason.

Hes far from the only one no and I can see why for away games he would not be wanting to take a young lad or mess with the squad but when we're at Goodison there really isn't a logical reason other than laziness

We haven't seen that Italian kid since he signed from Milan either apart from his debut, with no news if he's injured or just massively crap.

It would appear they have literally no interest in using the u21 team for attempting to develop players for the first team at the minute.

Boakye? I was wondering about him. Played one game and disappeared off the face of the earth. Hopefully an injury rather than being crap because we gave him a contract til 2026.

I thought the “ Onyango at CB” was a most interesting move for the Palace game, 6 ft 3in , young, needs to fill out a bit , but if we provide him with specific coaching and development it may just pay off.
