I am surprised that Welch hasn't found a loan yet though. Seems like he was the only one of our youths that had semi-regular loan rumours and yet here we are on deadline day and very quiet.

Im skeptical to how well those ESC slots work for kids plucked from obscurity. In any case we absolutely cannot under the current FIFA laws sign a U18 foreign national. So if his birthdate is an 09 this is a non starter

Clearly not. I'm glad he's signed to us rather than Lyon. Can't see why he'd be loaned to them over the Belgian second tier side though

Think we're still top heavy though.

Let's say we did a 4-3-3 and had, when fit, Sherif, Ebere and Benjamin playing that's keeping JBC and Barker not getting many mins. Especially with how few games we actually seem to play. But can't shift any of those out really.
