England had a month off after the league finished, an if they were so tired why then do altitude training for 2 weeks to just waste it by playing a match at Wembley, just fly to SA and don't play 3 pointless friendlies that teach you nothing.
I don’t think the winter break makes a different. Carragher phoned up radio City towards the end of last season and they asked him his plan for the day, his replay was, well I’ve got training at 10 then I’m home for 1 and picking the kids up at 3.
4 hours a day of training then maybe 2 or 3 match a week at the most and they have the day after the match off. Tiredness and winter breaks are no excuse

Thank fck they are finally put out of their misery. Why?
