Expected Downtime

We are having our server upgraded to cope with recent issues, the upgrade will take place either today, Monday or Tuesday.

For those interested, as expected the CPU was faulty which caused the odd crash. We're upgrading this and doubling our RAM.

For those really interested, its going to be a Intel Core2Quad Q9550, 8 gigs and 500GB hard disk.

No, i mean evrytime Everton are in action, the server busy always comes up. So with the new upgrade, will this problem persist?

I expect it shouldn't happen anymore - if it does I have a few ideas that'll stop it.

Not yet, I'm still pondering. I will certainly upgrade the forum software - I have to, without saying too much on here, its whether to take the extras. Until I know how I could utilise it, I'm reluctant to purchase the full suite.

Massive complaints - myself included, over their selling tactics have at least prompted them to get an online demo up (or at least try), which is nice. Will be interesting to have a nose at their CMS - to expect people to make such a big purchase without actually seeing or using it astounded me. I think I went some way to pushing them to get a demo up, I stated the "pre-release offer" of buying without seeing heavily implied that they didn't have faith in their suite to compete with IPB's... It got a reaction.
