All those Merc employees Red Bull stole for their Engine team worked out well :p

To be fair without issues it looks to be a very tidy engine, Max was comfortably fastest car in a straight line although part of that may be setup related.

Horner telling Perez to get his elbows out... isn't that just typical of the weasel? I'm sure that he would rather have had Perez and Hamilton have an incident that put them both out of the race rather than bring Perez home safely.
Hamilton did very well to avoid smashing into Perez when he spun. I know the spin wasn’t intentional but he easily could’ve have ended his race and possibly Russell’s too given how close they were running.

I’d rather things got decided through the actual racing but I’m pretty happy that Red Bull have to take that after the way they have behaved post Abu Dhabi. Feels like they’ve whined more than Mercedes and they bloody won

Despite their good fortune today, it looks like Mercedes have a mountain to climb IMO. They're at least 0.7s off the pace... and not of just 1 rival team, but 2. The betting markets have moved to indicate that they haven't got much of a chance in either championship.

Odds:
Lecerc 2/1
Verstappen 2/1
Hamilton 3/1
Sainz 10/1
Russel 25/1
Perez 80/1

Tell ye what Boyz, as much as I love and rate Leclerc, that price on Sainz has gotta be the best bet there. While he may not have Charles' genius he's going to be close enough to him over a season that surely if Leclerc goes close then Sainz is going to be in with a shout too.

My money is still firmly on Verstappen to win the title, I have very little faith Ferrari and Leclerc can maintain a proper challenge all season.

I hope they prove me wrong, they won't though.
