F1 - 2022 Season

Sainz is pretty ordinary when it comes to wheel to wheel racing. In a fight between him and Max I'd back max 100 times out of 100

Got to remember the Red Bull is comfortably the fastest car in a straight line this season. Not much Sainz can do provided Verstappen keeps getting a decent exit out of the hairpin.

Also Verstappen was expected to cruise to a win and Sainz has matched his pace for the most part.

Even if he finishes second this has been good race for him.

Honestly don't know what you all expected him to do ? Verstappen has the fastest car in a straight line with similar age tyres which were never at risk of going off. The only way Sainz was getting past was with a Verstappen error into or out of the hairpin... something that was unlikely to happen.

In a race Verstappen was expected to dominate Sainz ended up being the fastest driver out there. It's a good race for him.

Bloody haas had the 3rd row lock out prior to the race haha. What a mess
I posted about them sticking to their plan, writing last year off and how that long term thinking looked to have paid off. Absolutely no luck since.

Not only do I know next to nothing about F1 but I'm also a curse. So with my track record in mind I'm predicting Ferrari are going to carry on being unreliable, Mercedes won't get their car in order and here's to Verstappen & Red Bull's continued domination.

They have massively improved this season and got a slice of luck with putin invading Ukraine so they could bin marzipan off lol. Sort out the reliability issues and they may have a good second half of season but feel like they will just collapse more time than not.

He's one of those drivers who is fast enough to be a F1 driver, but is seriously lacking in racecraft and the ability to just do something that makes the difference in a tight fight.
I mean his dad's a rally driver......maybe its in his blood to only drive *really* well when by yourself on the track.....
