I understand the need for some televised ties but spread over 5 days will kill off interest.
Get back to sudden death 3pm kick-offs with no more than 6 ties televised on Saturday and Sunday for the 3rd and 4th rounds.
I feel sorry for those fans of the Posh and the club itself who, from their statement, seemed to still believe in “the romance of the cup”.

I'm guessing this is a logistical decision due to both ourselves and the other lot getting home ties. I can't remember a weekend where were both at home, one Saturday one Sunday
And understandably so. Would be good to see Everton put out a similar statement. Cup games like this are a great opportunity for young blues to attend their first game. A late, mid-week kick off makes this impractical for many. Totally ridiculous decision.
Posh fan here - gutting decision, at our level we don't have it as bad as you for stupid times (there have been a few this season with Sky showing so more many games) but this shows no consideration, will iplayer bring in many viewers for this?
At least half a day off work and hardly any families will be able to go. On a Sunday we'd have sold whatever you gave us, with this I doubt we'll take a 1000, just after Xmas and aot of self employed lads and lasses won't get paid if they take this time off. A real shame

Totally agree. A ludicrous decision.
It's an absolute piss take mate and I think the best outcome would be for Peteborough to make a stand and just boycott the game and give us a well earned 3-0 win.
