FA cup 5th round draw

There are some potential banana skins iMO: Forest-Leicester, us-Bournemouth, Palace-Stoke, Boro-Spurs, Wham-Saints. You'd expect the favourite to go through in those but an upset far from out of the question also. The big sides should get through easily though.

I see the obvious threat being

The big 3 and Spurs away, if we get that far.

Any of the others I think we can go ahead and beat. But obviously, the most important part is we progress. If we beat Bournemouth or Boreham Wood, we can just hope others play their part and make it an “easier” QF draw.

As Gordon Lee was quoted as saying, get to the sixth round and you can start getting the whiff of the hot dog stands.
I can see us getting to Wembley. If we dont get Liverpool or Chesea away, and if we dont get City either home or away, we'll reach Wembley.

I'd fancy us at home in a cup quarter final, City apart, against anyone.

Maybe this is our year for a bit of luck and we get more home draws than not....and we get S'ton, Palace, Stoke or some team at home.

The fabled 27 year gap began by us appointing a manager to haul us away from the bottom of the league, which was achieved with the not inconsiderable bonus of nicking the Cup from the nations sweethearts as well.
Could history be about to repeat itself.

You always get a story like that in the cup: a team on the floor in the league has their season transformed by a cup campaign.

Well, we have a golden opportunity to get to the QF, and a draw from there at home puts us a step away from Wembley. And if it's a home draw against all but City the opponents aren't going to want to walk into a Goodiosn that'll be rocking and right down the back of their necks.

Bournemouth....another team of South coast kopites, who, if they beat Borehamwood will play out of their skins v us and then roll over for the rs, being happy with their kopite shirts and autographs in the qf

At home we have too much for them.

I always think that if we get to the later stages of a cup competition we are very hard to beat...which is why we as a club have been to more SFs than any other.
.............the exception being Wigan in the 6th round 2013 .
