…remember that game, I knew the Telford CB and he made it tough for Sharp that afternoon. Remember Altrincham was tough, but we beat Bedford 3-0 on the way to winning it in 1966. Omen.

I was at the Telford game. They battered us for the first 30 minutes!

I was both Altrincham games. They kicked the crap out of us in both games, home, and the replay at Old Traffrord.

And I was at the Bedford game. We had the terrace behind one goal. Stand one way and watch the match; turn around and you're looking at cows and sheep in a field a few yards away! Ah, the magic of the Cup!

What a twist. This tie is full of danger for us. They've not conceded a goal yet in the competition, and I can see us struggling to break them down. Still confident that we'll win, but we could get seriously embarrassed on the way there if we don't get this right.

You’d like to think the club would do something for Boreham like give them a bigger share of the revenue or something. Even if it’s just Everton paying the whole bill for the VAR whereas I think the rule is that the clubs are supposed to split it 50/50

In this day and age, PL clubs don’t make their money from gate receipts or cup games in general, it’s all TV money for the PL so the money generated from this game will have little impact on us but a huge impact for them

Give them the Arteta money.
