FA cup 5th round draw

No I don’t think anyone thinks that. However, I reckon if you looked at the sides that City and Liverpool have had to play to get to finals in recent years it is shocking.

I was saying to folk today that Liverpool, city and Chelsea would avoid each other and lo and behold they do. I dunno whether they recorded a few draws until they got the one they wanted to the balls were heated up so they felt warmer in Southgates hand but it is a bizarre coincidence that those teams seem to get through to the latter stages year on year without having to play against each other
Liverpool have never been beyond the 5th round of the FA cup under Klopp, losing early to Man U & Chelsea the previous two seasons.

Played the following to win the league cup this year: -

Norwich (a)
Preston (a)
Leicester (h)
Arsenal (neu)
Chelsea (neu)

The ONLY other final under Klopp was the 2016 League cup, so not sure where this talk of easy routes comes from, as they've only been in 2 finals in 10 years!

Huddersfield have been under radar all season. Corboran had done an amazing job in very challenging conditions!

Be a cracker thst on Monday, think I’d want Norwich to win, as I’d fancy them more.
Looking forward to going to "Norwich" v Huddersfield on Monday .. just got to make sure I set my satnav for the City Ground, not Carrow Road

Confirmed for the Sunday it would appear…

Off the FA website confirming 19-20th March

We got a draw that most of us would've took considering who we could've got yet the 'it's fixed' conspiracy theorists are out in force.

Given two of his former clubs were in the draw I doubt Southgate would've been in on something that would've stitched them up big time.

You can’t tell me that draws aren’t fixed . I don’t think it’s an agenda against Everton but I do think tournaments prefer to have the best playing the beat later on in the competition.

It’s not paranoia it’s common sense .
You call that 'common sense'? lol

You've had Man City v Man Utd, Arsenal v Spurs, Liverpool v Everton in the 3rd round in recent times. I'm sure if there was 'fixed draws' I doubt these sorts of ties would've been drawn out at the 3rd round stage. But continue with the paranoia anyway.

Liverpool v Everton lol that proves nothing we are an irrelevance lol

Why did they allow Liverpool to play Man U & Chelsea in the early rounds of the FA cup last year & the year before then?

Every round they need some kind of glamour tie it’s not all about the final ffs . But as bigger teams progress it’s in the tournaments best interest to have a competitive final. Does anyone really want a repeat of city v Watford 6-0 ? I don’t I’m sure the tournament organisers don’t either .
