FA CUP DRAW ROUND 4

If we win on pens we`ve drawn the game, draw and win on pens.
But we havnt drawn the game? The game is just tied after 90 mins so there is extra time to the same game? Like theres got to be a winner to the game so if its still tied after extra time to the same game penalties. Listen if you can find an actual thing saying the game was an actual draw i'll admit you was right (not 2-2 like the game ended in a draw and went to penalties)

I suppose it's all semantics. For me winning on pens means you've drawn the game but won the tie, but I doubt there's an official 'right' way of looking at it. It seems wrong to me to say you've won 4 games in a row if you didn't actually win one of them as a game of football but probably just personal preference.

But it is a game of football thats been won on the last resort of penalties because there needs to be a winner to that one game

That one where we had Sheff Wed and Boro, think we'd done about 6/7 games before we got to the 5th round 😆

West Brom I remember being 3 games as well, oh and the rs one as well
If its the same year I`m thinking about, v West Brom, we got a draw away to Plymouth in the 3rd round. Followed up the epic 3 game run v the RS by getting beat by West Ham in the quarters, Everton that!

The ties at West Brom and Plymouth were in 1989. Kevin Sheedy penalties saved us in both games before both were beaten in the replay.

The three ties against Liverpool followed by the quarter final defeat at West Ham were 2 years in 1991.

Oh yeah Plymouth away!

Bloody hell we didn't half have some epic ties over the years. That 2-2 away at Boro has boss highlights when Trevor Steven scored right at the death!
