If the RS had been drawn away at Carlisle then Klippety Klopp Flopp Plopp would have spontaneously combusted at the thought of their pitch.
Nah mate he'd have just looked perpetually stoned, as he usually does.

Anyway, hopefully we can overcome Carlisle and get an easy 5th round home tie. Never been one for wanting challenges early in the cups.

As easy a passage as possible please. Not that we should take Carlisle for granted of course, the put a spanner in the works of our title challenge in their one and only top flight season.

Did you have to mention that? I still have nightmares over the end to that season. Didn't we lose home and away to them?

Storm Jonas is due to hit the north west and upwards to western Scotland in the middle of this week, very heavy rainfall predicted, could affect the game going ahead?

Lost 2-3 at home after leading 2-0 (Everton that), then lost 0-3 away late in the season, when we had the title virtually in our grasp (Dark Side that). Denied the title by a relegated team inspired by a cricket player, you can't get more FFS than that.

I have always been a fan of the FA Cup. Back when it was the biggest trophy you could win and even now after every effort the authorities have made to destroy it. I would love to see us win it.

Realistically its the best chance we have to see an ocean of Blue in town as we parade through OUR city.

Nice comfy 2-0 please and easy 5th round draw thank you bartender.

Carlisle fan here, with a soft spot for the blue side of merseyside.
For those who have not been to BP your in for a real treat. Its about the largest ground left that has been all but one stand
Untouched for over half a century , it's a real throw back. They used it in the filming of the Shearer advert when he was on the terraces has a boy and parts of the Clough film and the film about Man U.The pioneer stand where you will be sitting in the far end is the only place that has been developed and that is nearly 20 years old now.
For those who have been or havnt been its a horrible sight to see the hundreds of skips and empty houses for miles around,it really brings reality to the situation. Well it's going to be a sell out and a great atmosphere , hope you enjoy a
different experience than your used to.
Good look in the semi , be nice for another Mersey final has long has you beat the red half.
