Getting that old familiar feeling here. Struggling against lower league teams, random formation/selection choices, late/non-existent subs, and keeping faith in truly awful players.
If Benitez had a discernible plan and it was a case of the old favourite “transition” then I’d be all for keeping the faith but he very, very clearly hasn't.
I don’t hate the transfer strategy of bringing in younger players, but there’s no tactical strategy at all. Bin him so we can get a bounce up to lower mid-table and write off yet another season.
