I'd sooner have Davies than Morgan or Delph. At least he has some pace, last week our midfield was awful until Gomes came on. Delph couldn't put the simplest past and none of our midfield did any running.

Hopefully he doesn't get a start on Sunday; "big time Charlie" that has done nothing at Everton. It's a cliché but respect is earned and he's not done enough at Everton.

Compare and contrast Delph to Gomes; Gomes comes back from injury as a sub and makes an immediate impact; taking responsibility and taking on players and moving the ball decisively.

The way I see it, Delph has to the end of the season to make an impact else Carlo will look for better.

I’m still holding out for him to turn this round. He was great at villa, a top prospect at Leeds, well thought of at Man City and in the england set up. I am hoping this is just a period of bad form.

I don't think Davies is special. Just at least he runs. The other two don't although Morgan is out now anyway. Disappointed with Delph, I thought he'd be better.

He just doesn't look physically up to the challenge of prem football anymore which is weird as he's not that old. Maybe it's injuries maybe it's attitude who knows he's been dissapointing. Unfortunately we are going to have to rely on him unless the next month at least unless Carlo thinks Davies can do a job next to Gomes which I doubt.
