Think this chump has already played his last game for the club. We should be making it a priority to get rid of him this summer, thoroughly average player with a very poor attitude and a dreadful injury record.

Saying all that though, which mugs are gonna take him off us? Leeds maybe, if they fancy adding some quick experience for a low fee. Really can't see Delph wanting to play for Bielsa though, he doesn't suffer any fools so there's no way Delph could carry on like he did here whilst Silva was in charge. He'd be thrown out in double quick time.

I rather we'd stook it out with Mo Besic instead, to be honest. The lad was having problems with injuries but he is on our books bought and paid for. Don't see why we paid a fee and over the top wages for a similar type of player who we knew had injury problems. Easy to say now though, I guess.

Obviously hindsight is a wonderful thing but we wouldn't have been any worse off had we done this, and would have a substantial surplus in the coffers too given the difference between their wage packets and saving on Delph's fee as you say.

I must say though, I did understand the logic at the time of Delph's signing, especially given that Gana had just gone. Gbamin's injury has obviously had a huge effect on what we have been able to do in midfield too. Delph may have just been a squad player all season had JPG and Gomes stayed fully fit and built up a good understanding. The fact that neither could stay fit is obviously telling that we needed more cover in that position, but you usually want the people providing the cover to be pretty reliable and injury free themselves, which Delph obviously has never been. Then again, Besic has never been either so I do understand the logic of needing an extra body, they obviously just got it very, very wrong.
 


Nobody will pay money for him. On big wages. Has two years left on his contract. Body made of polystyrene. Only plays 30 minutes of football a season. Ass hole off the pitch who confronts fans on his social media. Belittles his own team mates. No club will pay anything for him.
