So other than from the messages that some peoples tin foil hats are receiving, I can`t see where the " 6 - 8 " weeks out injured is coming from ???

It's on facebook too "rumours he is out for 6 weeks" , "my mate heard he is out for 2 month.." all totally baseless I can assure you.

If fit Delph needs to start in the middle with Davies, that's assuming Gomes isn't fit. Not good if we have to shove Gbanim in there again as he clearly needs more time to adjust to the pace of the league.

I don't think Silva said anything. There were just reports that it was up to 3 weeks.

Maybe that was an early diagnosis and he's come back quicker than expected. If he's trained this morning then he'll have at least one more session before Friday.

I think it'll be one of those late fitness test cases, but imagine he'll be involved in some capacity. A boost, anyway.
