I was made up when we got Delph but it’s highly noticeable that since he’s come back the play has slowed down and more backwards and sideways passing.
I’d play him further forward so that he’s looking for the killer passes than slowing it all down.

Yep, he takes far too many touches on the ball and rarely advances our position, gets it three pointless twists and turns and then rolls the ten harder that he should've played in one or two touch. Smacks of ego me thinks

I think its a bit unfair to assess Delph until we see how he does in a full strength team. He maybe takes extra touches due to lack of movement ahead. I think he was brought in to rotate alongside Gbamin or Gomes not Sigurdsson and Schneiderlin.
