2020/21 Fabian Delph

Because Delph was carried by 10 supremely better players than him, and was needed only to pass 5 yards to a better one and let them do the work.
To an extent i agree with that but at one point in the second half he won the ball back off a Newcastle player went forward to the centre circle area and DCL was the closest player to him who was about 40 yards away. The whole setup yesterday was just wrong, we had lost that game before a ball was even kicked imo.

As recently as 17/18 Delph played 22 League games for a title winning City side. Moise Keen is banging goals in for PSG.

Both sides are way better than Everton. We need to stop slaughtering our players and try looking at why they have done much better at other clubs.
20 of which were him filling in at left back which I’m sure they could’ve stuck a fan out the stands in there such was how dominant that city side was. He’s a yard dog who’s made a career living off that reputation of filling in a couple of times for city, absolute crab of a player with an ego his talent can’t match

As much as I hate him, he wasn’t the problem yesterday at all. He did his job (not perfectly, but he did it). The two shoe-ins on the wing list is this one.

He hasn't endeared himself to me with ability, desire or personality but he was far from the worst player on the pitch yesterday.

Sigurdsson and Gomes should be taking the bulk of the flack for their predictably abject performances.

Didn't like it when a bigger boy came over to tell him to leave their player alone, the little fart.

Almost as cowardly as his passing.
I honestly wonder what we look for in players sometimes. Does Brands scour the world for players who have mastered the 5 yard wall pass

He had a go at the Newcastle player because he blatantly dived when Delph attempted to tackle him, the little fart, then Delph, to me was telling the big fella to mind his own business it was nothing to do with him, then continued to tell Fraser? what a phoney he was.

If Fraser isn't careful, he'll be getting inboxed about what happens when you show up a legend of the game for being a sitting duck against pace.

'You may remember me from such hit Amazon Prime documentaries as All or Nothing: Manchester City...'
