Is it getting to forced into early retirement stage yet? Do players do that anymore with the huge contracts they’re on?

Reckon he’ll try and blag another 2/3 years at some other poor club after his stint here. Honestly you’d be embarrassed wouldn’t you? I certainly would. Surely he’s got enough money to call it a day and put his feet (what’s left of them) up. Needs to have some dignity.

Waste of space, he's contributed absolutely nothing to the club, still living off his cameo appearance in the man city all or nothing. i actually despise him, last memory of him actually playing was the 2-2 game against newcastle at goodison. if i remember rightly they had just scored with a minute left on the clock and rather than keep hold of the ball and try kill the game off, it was him who hoofed it up straight to newcastle player and eventually they go on to score. cant wait till his contract is up, possibly worst signing past 10 years. did i mention i hate him?

I feel sorry for Gbamin, I feel sorry for Besic and Bolasie... they both suffered injuries and have both went out on loan and have failed to get a permanent move for various reasons (can't blame Bolasie for not wanting to accept half his wages to join Boro permanently)... but I have no time for this little meff.

Swooned into the club with his premier league medals thinking he was bigger than the club and the best player (facepalm). His complete inability to stay fit is embarrassing,it can't all be bad luck, it has to be lifestyle as well. Seconds before the latest injury he actually made a progressive, forward run... I thought to myself "that is the best piece of play he has done in his Everton career" and it will probably be the last.

Imagine a world without Cuco, Niasse, Schneiderlin, Walcott, Bolasie, Besic, Tosun, Delph, Garbutt (on £27k a week) & Sandro... all remaining remnants of Koeman and Walsh!

Yeah, Delph was signed on Brands' watch.

Tbf though, most people thought it was a clever signing. His injury problems were well known, but it was still expected he'd make 20-25 appearances a season, especially the first season.

Expensive to keep and expensive to get rid of.
If we do qualify for Europe he may have some small role to play. We are paying him anyway and nobody is taking him off our hands.

I was thinking more 10-15 but he can't even manage that! I understand the reasons why were in for him though. Some things just don't work out I think that maybe there's a bit of him that doesn't want to play for us so it's "boss I don't think I'm up to playing today - I've got an injured thumb from a marathon session on my ps5" or any other excuse.

Yeah, that was sort of my point, numbers aside, we all knew he was gonna miss games, but not the amount he has ;)

He was also brought in with one eye on back-up for Digne. It did seem to make sense.

All will be forgiven if he scores the winner in the cup final. Failing that, he can't koff quick enough.
