You must have missed the part where the ball was laid back to him and instead of playing it forwards...sliced it horribly

He looked super rusty. His first few passes were all a bit under hit. Got booked within a couple of minutes of coming on. Generally didn't contribution much other than being another body in our wall. Strange sub I thought.

I am not advocating for him to get MOM by any means, just didn’t think he was horrendous.

I get hes rubbed everyone up the wrong way, and he’ll never win the fans over, so he may aswell be moved on.... but we’re in a hunt for Europe here, so if he can be in anyway useful, then utilise him.

Everyone makes a bad pass, and I agree bit of a weird sub, but did a job, and we got 3 points.

I thought it was a good sub his crab like passes were actually just what was needed to get a foot hold back in the game. He's burnt so many bridges here moving on is definitely for the best but I agree with you whilst he's here we might as well make use of him.

There's bad passes and theres that slice I'd forgive it on his weaker foot but it wasn't. Get your point in general.
Carlo seems to have a thing for odd subs, remember him consistently bringing Kenny on for richarlison for the final few minutes at LW earlier in the season

I just think he’s a cool head in the middle of the park, so if he gets 15 minutes at the end of the games when we’re trying to see it out, I’m absolutely fine, providing he stays fit.

I saw him make a forward pass at one stage to be fair which is more than I saw from Gomes in roughly an hour of football.

Wouldn’t be totally shocked to see a move to Villa or Leeds where he’s got some roots, but definitely worth moving on.

I mean given that in the same game Leno threw a ball between his legs and gifted us two points, I’m always empathetic when it comes to an anomaly.

Never getting a regular spot here mind, but Carlo loves a defensive minded sub when seeing out a lead, we saw with Gbamin against Palace and then we did see Kenny as you said earlier in the season.

Think we’re all agreed it’s best to move him on, and not aiming this at you, but the negativity in the thread from the last game I think proves my point.

Another higher earned we can save a bit on.

Maybe I'm just chatting bubbles but the sub felt like to me was telling Moshiri/the board this is all he has to work with, How did he come on before Davies? He hasn't played in an official match in how long.
