Former England midfielder Fabian Delph announces his retirement aged 32, months after leaving Everton as a free agent.

He will be a massive boon to the football World now. There isn't anyone in the world with his knowledge of real and perceived sporting injuries. Either that or a Tory PM.

I remember looking at him when he was on the bus heading into the ground for one of the final games of last season and he just looked like he wasn’t arsed.

When he wasn't injured he was actually one of our best midfield options last season. I know the competition wasn't exactly strong in that department but when he came he moved the ball better and set a tempo better than what we previously had in midfield. To often injured which is the Everton way over the past number of years.
