I realise that Moyes won't drop AJ to the bench, at least not against ManU, but with the hectic schedule coming up McFadden will get his chances from start in some games. So the question could be:

Do we make a partnership with AJ-Yak in one game and McFadden-Anichebe in another or Yak-McFadden, AJ-Anichebe?

for now think aj/yak is 1st choice, but with squad getting fitter/bigger/better we have more options and maybe even rotate them as required

he is a striker! he has scored for club and country this season. the whole team played [Poor language removed] against b'burn but he scored a crucial goal. i can't see aj plucking one out of the hat in his current form.

in his 2 everton appearances this season he has scored against b'burn and hit the bar against reading. also for his international game he found the net.

i think he demands a start on his form, if aj started like that we would all be delighted.

Faddy has been playing well for us even though he's often used out of position. He's one of the few guys we have on the team who could create a goal all by himself. Sometimes we'll need that especially when were up against a team thats playing 10 back to perserve a tie/win.

I doubt United will play ten at the back, Okay the boy can score goals but I'll bet if he does get a start he will give half the effort AJ gives. AJ's non stop running and sheer determination to chase every lost cause harry every defender down is vital to us especially against teams like Man Utd. Who like to have time on the ball.

Against ManU, I'd prefer to have AJ-Yak on the top since both are more experienced and a bit tougher than McFadden. But I'd bring McFadden on fairly early in the second half if the strikers can't get something out of the first half.

Against lesser teams I could definately see McFadden start games and do a good job.

Faddy's was a great strike every bit as good as Owen's goal. Just wish he would do it more often and for us.
