Yes and no. There was a local guy Ray Dunbobbin (Ralph in Brookside) actor who played a Welsh man. Jones played a Welshman in an episode of Goodnight Sweetheart. In another episode of Goodnight Sweetheart Kenneth Cope was a bar man talking about Everton. Incidentally Paul Angelis (also a blue) was in an episode of Porridge playing Navy Rum
