Everton Football Club has today received notification that the proposed investment into the Club by Farhad Moshiri has been approved by the Premier League.

WoW how underwhelming is that for a write up given the significance of the changing of the old guard and our ermm alleged bright future.

Very short, but at least it ran to a couple of paragraphs, and looked like the Gettysburg Address in comparison to that bald statement tonight.

Surely that's not even the correct wording. The PL havent ratified 'investment', they've ok'd him being able to purchase a majority share holding in the club.
Even when selling shares and making millions they can't announce it properly.

Find it funny how people have accepted a wall of silence for past 20 years off BK, but the new guy should be making statements within 2 hours of it being ratified. Unbelievable.
