That's true, but as an adult with responsibility for the wellbeing of his children, he ought to see himself as duty bound to do what is best for them. I think that means not impregnating them.

But unfortunatly its just no where near as simple as that.

I know of a "couple" who are apparently father and daughter and have had children (taken away by the authorities, so I lead to believe). I say apparently because of what other people have told me. I can tell you that the "father" is a right [Poor language removed] (has been inside for crimes) and the "daughter" is a very simple person. It doesn't excuse it but I'm sure it goes on in rural areas such as where I live quite a lot. It's pretty awful in any event.

I think it really is as 'simple as that'. This man loves himself and everyone else is secondary in his quest to assert himself on his family. How long would it be before he starts on other members of 'his' clan? There is a lot to be said for tolerating different ways of life. But not every way of life should be viewed as legitimate, as good as yours or mine.

While I was a psychiatric nurse I came across a family where the boys went with their mum and the girls with the dad,two of the lads where patients at the hospital I worked at and where very supportive of their parents they both on being released from the hospital went back to the same environment in Brighton and as they where no longer children that was the end of it I for the life of me cant understand it but social services where looking into it but we heard no more and this was in the seventies I still get that ugh feeling thinking about it as nothing repulses me more than a father taking advantage of his own child should be castrated
