Bit shocked very happy today my kids put together and got me an Everton way Stone for Father's dad. Love me kids, anyone else get a nice surprise ?

....I’m never one for birthdays or Fathers Day but my son got me a stone too. Daughter got me a new I-pad on a recent visit to NY but I most like just being in their company. Son has been around this afternoon, we had a few drinks together, we’re minding his girls tomorrow & I’m sure my daughter will be camped on our setee in the morning as she’s delicate state at the moment.

Weird that kids grow up & have great careers but still reliant on us in their 30s. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Some lad knocked on my door saying something about me going out for milk 18 years ago. Figured he was from the dairy and sent him on his way.

Indeed, I have four 40 and over, but to me they are still kids, to be looked after and supported…what I want to know is when the hell do they start to support me, eh, eh……

To be fair , my eldest son hardly asks for anything . Him and his wife bought me a copy of Pink Floyd " The Division Bell " on vinyl for today
On the other hand , the bloody daughter , into who's bank account I should have my wages paid into to make it easier, got me a card. And scrounged £20 off me for some leccy
