Sat in a beautiful rural pub my son is treating us to a lovely meal & the sun is shining my daughter sent me a lovely Fat Face blue jumper in the post from Edinburgh 
However. Sitting in the digs tonight with a beer watching the match in peace and quiet is a plus side!!

Been for a walk with eldest daughter, son in law and the two dogs, then they treated me for brunch. Better than any present that 
My Wife hates football, but I dragged her along to watch The Derby, she sat with my Grandson, she rates that day as the happiest she has been in her life.

It's the first time in 30 years that none of my kids are around and my Mrs had to go into the office so I'm sat here watching the Euros and drinking whatever I want.
Next year we will be begging for the amount of me time we have now, BEGGING for it.
