I love that photo.

could get the photo copied in, but for me it has to be Ferguson with his hands clapsed around Steffan Freund's neck...

Quite like this one- does anyone have the video of him celebrating? I think it was against Bolton and he ran the length of the pitch in the rain. Great stuff!

My Avatar is funny. remember this one???

Tony Adams is saying , "just leave `im on he`s doin us a favour!"
Oh, I remember it, and personally I don't think its funny. For that supporter to have blamed one player (and I think only one of two black players on the pitch) for a [Poor language removed] performance from the whole team, and for the so called independant Everton supporteers to back him and not see the racist nature of the incident was to me shameful.

Years later I can just about see how it can be interpreted as "funny", but not in my books mate. I just wish he had tried that on with Campbell. What would have been your view if Campbell had flattened him, which is what I would have done in that situation?

Sorry to spoil this great thread, and can I plead that we don't dwell on my comments too long, but for me, it was a sore racist incident NOT FUNNY. Sorry folks, couldn't just let it pass without comment.

PS And for anyone who thinks that I am a defender of Nyarko, after seeing his "Viera without the attitude" performances, after 3 games I was convinced that we should have sold him at the first opportunity, even if we made a loss.

My second favourite picture of all time. Sums us up. My favourite, which I can't find is one where Joe Royal is heading past the Liverpool goalie in 1969/70 (I think). His header and the view of the ground, particularly the upper stands where there was no advertising on the top hoadings are so atmospheric.

Shame I can't find the picture.

I don't remember that incident, did the man do or say anything racist or is it racist because the player he went to was black?
