People like London clubs?
Find them all extremely insufferable. Well the modern higher clubs.
Chelsea - Plastic
Arsenal - more plastic, but the fans try to hard to be “ultras”, which is pathetic and in turn makes them more plastic.
Tottenham - elevated to “elite” status but haven’t won a trophy for nearly 20 years, so fans are just beyond arrogant with no substance.
West Ham - club acts as if they have a chip on their shoulder because of the stadium they’re paying pennies for. Fans carry on this charade of being “hard”, but that all went when they sold their soul to the worst stadium I’ve ever been to.
Brentford - nothing personal, but they’re a tin pot club, performing way above expectation who will stick around for a few more years before becoming another Swansea, Reading whichever.
Millwall - don’t actually have any dislike - know a lot of Millwall boys and they’re really quite sound. But obviously their reputation sticks and be assed.
Charlton - same pool as Brentford really.
Wimbledon - great to get back where they need in the FL, but a smaller club who have gone about it the right way.
Fulham - More or less established themselves as a top flight club now, but another plastic club. I’d say the Wigan of London, lots of fans want to see “their” team, couldn’t and inherited Fulham.
QPR - Just hated the era they were in the prem recently. High paid divas, extortionate ticket prices, ground is in an absolute dump, poor away following swerve.
Leyton Orient - been through hell and back. Must be very difficult to keep afloat when you’ve got Spurs, West Ham etc on your door step.
Crystal Palace - isn’t in London. But would like them to just have one season where they’ve got something riding on the last day Europe/Relegation seems they’ve mastered the art of “just enough”.
Overall, Leyton Orient and Wimbledon seem to have passing grades for me. Everyone else can swerve it lol
