Let’s just say I like that they crack down hard on violent and unruly mobs and protect their football stadiums from thugs without tickets.

Can I just add that our forces could learn a lot from the French, as we saw in the city of Liverpool not too long back when iconic buildings were being set ablaze by thousands and thousands of thugs and nothing was done about it.

I don't have experience of other police forces but given my interactions with British police I'm sure our rozzers are the fattest*, least fit, laziest, most target driven (to the point of fabricating offences) and least respectable on the planet.

The fact that they're undermanned and let down by dreadful government leadership and now recruiting any crook that applies will surely improve things.

*apart from the donut eating, racial minority killing, trigger happy US of A of course.
